English Design Lab Report:

Every now and then I will be reporting on different thrift stores in and around Cherokee and Cobb County.

The first one I visited was The Angel Closet. It's located at 2554 Austell Rd. Marietta 30008 770-435-6777.

This thrift store is more on the "cozy" side. The clothes were all together and there was no used clothing smell. The selection however was not large as it related to apparel. Also, there wasn't any prices listed so you had to ask. The prices however, were not bad. I purchased 3 pieces of clothing for $4.50 plus tax.

The other great thing about this thrift store is the in is a part of the Cobb Street Ministries. They provide hurting men, women and children emergency shelter, housing, food and clothing, addiction programs and professional counseling.

I had the pleasure of going to see Scott Schuman of "The Satorialist". This past Monday he was a part of SCAD style. While waiting for it the program to start there were photos on the wall from an ad campaign for Karl Lagerfeld from 2001. Tell me what you think.
